Lit ["Father of Heauen, and him, by whom"]

19. And through thy bitter Agonie
Which is still the Agonie of pious wittes
Diputing what distorted thee
An interrupted euennes, with fitts
And through thy free confession
Though there by they were then
Made blinde, so that thou mightst from them haue gone
Good Lord deliuer vs. And teach vs when
Wee may not, and wee may, blind vniust men.|

20. Through thy submitting All; to blowes
Thy face, thy clothes to spoile, thy fame to Scorne.
All waies, which rage, or Iustice knowes
And by which, thou couldst show, that thou wast borne,
And through thy gallant hvmblenes.
Which thou in death didst show
Dyinge before thy Soule they could expresse
Deliuer vs from death, by dying so
To this world, ere this world doe bid vs goe.|

21. When Sences, which thy Soldiers are
Wee arme against thee, and they fight for him
When want sent. but to tame doth warr
And worke despaire a breach to enter in;
When Plenty, Gods Image, and Seale
Makes vs Idolatrus
And loue itt, not him whome itt should reveale;
When wee are mooud, to see me Religious
Only to vent witt; Lord deliuer vs.| [CW: In:]
