Lit ["Father of Heauen, and him, by whom"]

The Trinitie
4 O blessed glorious Trinitie
Bones to Philosophie, but Milke to faith
Which as wise Serpents diuerslye
Most slipperinesse, yett most entanglings hath
As you distinguished vndistinct,
By power, loue, knowledge bee,
Giue mee such a selfe-different instinct
Of thee, lett all mee elemented bee
Of power to loue to know, yow vnnvmbred three.|

The Virgin Mary
5 For that faire blessed Mother Maide
Whose flesh redeemd vs; that-shee-Cherubin
Which vnlockt Paradice, and made
One claime for Innocence, and disseissed Sin
Whose womb, was a strange Heauen; for there
God clothd him self, and grew;
Our Zealous thanks wee powre, as her deeds were
Our helps, soe are her praiers; Nor can shee sue
In vaine, who hath such titles vnto you.|

The Angells.
6 And since this life, our Nonage is
And wee in Wardship to thine Angells bee
Natiue in Heavens faire Pallaces
Where wee shall bee but Denizend by thee
As the Earth conceaving by the Sunne
Yeilds faire Diuersitie
Yett never knowes which course that light doth run
So lett mee studdie, that myne Actions bee
Worthy their sight, though blind in how they see.
