Carey ["Here where by all, all Saincts Adored are"]

For when through tastles flatt hvmilitie
In dow=bakd men, some harmelesnes wee see
Tis but his fleyme, thats vertuous and not hee.

Soe is the blood some tymes, whoever ran
To danger vnimportund hee was than
No better then a sanguine vertuous man

Soe cloystrall men that in pretence of feare
All contribution to this life forbeare
Haue vertue in Melancholie and only there

Spirituall cholerique Critigues, which in all
Religions finde faults, and forgiue no fall,
Haue through this zeale, vertue but in their gall

Wee are thus parcell guilt, to gold wee're growne
When vertue is our Soules complection
Who knowes his vertues Name, or place hath none

Vertues but Aguish: when tis seuerall
By occasion wakd, and circumstantiall
True vertue is soule, Alwaies in all deeds All.
