25. The Lord is good to them, who on him relie,
And to the Soule, that seekes him earnestlie.
26. Hee is both good to trust, and to attend
The Lords salvation vnto the end.
27. Tis good for one, his yoake, in youth to beare;
28. Hee sitts alone, and doth all speech forbeare.
Because hee hath borne itt. 29 And his Mouth hee layes
Deepe in the dust, yett then in hope hee staies.
30. Hee giues his cheekes, to whosoever will
Strike him, and so hee is reproached still;
31. For not forever doth the Lord forsake
32. But when hee hath stroke with sadnesse, hee doth take
Compassion, as his Mercie is Infinite,
33. Nor is itt with his Hart that he doth smite.
That underfoote the Prisoners stamped bee,
That as Mans right the Judge him selfe might see
To bee wronge from him. 36. That hee subuerted is
In his iust cause, The Lord allowes not this
37. Who then will saie, that ought doth come to passe,
But that which by the Lord commanded was?
38. Both good and euill from his Mouth proceedes;
39. Why then griues any man for his misdeedes?
40. Turne wee to God by tryinge out our waies;
41. To him in heaven, our hands with hartes vpraise;
42. Wee haue rebelld, and falne awaie from thee;
Thou pardonest not. 43. Vsest no clemencie

44. Coverest thy selfe with Cloudes, that our praier hath
