Good wee mvst loue, and mvst hate ill For ill is ill, And good, good still, But there are things indifferent, Which wee may nether hate nor loue; But one and then another proue As wee shall finde our fancy bent. If then at first wise Nature hadd Made women either good, or badd Then some wee might hate, and some chuse But since shee did them soe create That wee may nether loue nor hate Only this rests, all all may vse. If they were good, it would bee seene Good is as visible as greene, And to all eyes it selfe betraies If they were bad they could not last Bad doth it selfe and others waste Soe they deserue nor blame nor praise. But they are ours, as fruites are ours Hee that but tastes, hee that deuoures And hee which leaues all doth as well Changd loues, are but changd sortes of meate.
